Finding this coat on eBay inspired me to dig out my Banana Republic clutch from the same season. Together, they’re the perfect canvas for spring’s delicate gems.View comments)
Right now, I’m coveting:
- New throw pillows in a lovely shade of mint
- A bold, earthy necklace made of amazonite and quartz
- Rose-colored sunglasses
- A pretty floral cuff for $20 (in gold or cream)
- A breezy dress that’s destined for the beach
- This vintage pitcher
- Makeup that’s almost too pretty to use
- Mixing and matching barware in rectangles and stripes
Right now, I’m coveting:
- The announcement that Milly is collaborating with Banana Republic this spring
- Bright green onyx earrings
- The sweetest set of pencils
- Laser cut details on this clutch
- Springtime stripes on a Tucker skirt
- A monogrammed succulent planter
- A ring that commemorates the day Dave and I met: 2/2 (it might just be Valentine fever that’s making me sentimental)
Let’s get this out of the way right now: I love these earrings. I first learned of Stella Valle earlier this month and admired the brand’s mix of feminine details with strong, masculine elements. This pair of earrings showcases the strong Art Deco influence of its latest collection.
The earrings retail for $125 and are definitely worth the investment. They’re well made and each of the earrings are adorned with 11 attention-grabbing, rhinestone baguettes.
One word of warning: the earrings are heavy. I actually switched out the standard earring back in favor of a plastic disc backing to distribute the weight evenly and prevent drooping. With that simple switch, they’re comfortable for all-day wear. (One of my irrational fears is becoming an old woman with drooping earlobes. Given how much I love big earrings, it’s a very real concern!)

Four things contribute to a satisfying holiday season: gatherings of loved ones, gobs of glittery ornaments, glasses filled with holiday spirits, and, of course, a fabulous frock is a must! The new-to-me site, MissesDressy, has cocktail dresses in every shape and sequin color imaginable (and prom dresses to suggest to the younger ladies this spring).
I’m one click away from ordering those glamorous cocktail picks. They’ll look divine on the bar cart I have yet to acquire.View comments)
With the holidays fast approaching, my “splurges” need to be more frugal. I admit that I’ve already ordered the plaid skirt for casual holiday gatherings, but the interesting cut of the Aldo pumps are next on my must-have list. (Let’s face it, there’s always something to love at a shoe store - especially when Aldo is taking an extra 30% off sale items.)View comments)
Those who follow me on Instagram know that I spent time earlier this week organizing my jewelry collection. It was a project that was long overdue and made me realize just how many baubles I have (though, not quite hoarder territory … yet). Moving forward, I’ve vowed to limit my jewelry purchases to thoughtfully chosen items that are unique, stunning and high quality, like this pair of Belle Noel earrings ($95).(View comments)
One of the best things about the cooler temperatures is snuggling inside with a luxurious candle and a pair of cozy slippers. I jumped at the chance to upgrade my old pair of slippers when Daniel Green offered to send over a pair for review (especially since I’ve been wearing a moccasin-style pair that has seen much better days - and are far too embarrassing to take a photo of).
I chose this pair of traditional smoking slippers in metallic gold: a bit playful, a bit elegant, and completely appropriate for running outside to grab the mail. And I suspect that the leather upper will keep these in good shape through the coming years.
Giveaway! Daniel Green is offering U.S. readers a chance to win a pair of slippers. Just visit the Daniel Green website and let me know which pair you’d like to win! Good luck!View comments)
