It’s going to be a White Christmas in Madison after yesterday’s blizzard. Brrr!
(View comments)- Found ourselves in Lake Geneva for dinner and a walk around the picturesque town
- Wore beloved bracelets and a new pink skirt
- Lounged with Bacon who was being particularly sweet (probably to make up for chewing my DVF iPhone case earlier that morning)

(View comments)Last weekend’s wedding was only a half hour from Green Bay’s $1 carnival rides at Bay Beach Amusement Park. Since we were already that far north, we headed over to the lakeside city and spent a few hours at the park, followed by lunch at Titletown Brewing Co. before heading back to Madison.

(View comments)We’re headed to Central Wisconsin today for a wedding, but I’ll leave you with snapshots from last weekend’s day trip to Milwaukee. After purchasing this dress and this painting, we enjoyed Milwaukee’s brewing history. We toured the Milwaukee Brewing Co. (the best $7 I ever spent and a Grover sighting) and celebrated our heritage at the German Fest. Prost!

- Blossoming trees during a morning stroll in Milwaukee
- Truffle fries and aioli - a match made in heaven at Madison’s Tipsy Cow
- A jacket lining that’s too pretty to hide and my current go-to necklace
- Stopping at Distil in Milwaukee for craft cocktails. Lavender, gin, egg white and a handful of other ingredients? Sold.
- Spring color inspiration at the Milwaukee Art Museum
- Enjoying an adults-only night at the Madison Children’s Museum

Weekend Snapshots:
- I spent the weekend in northern Wisconsin, helping my parents pack up the house in anticipation of their upcoming move.
- A bit of Kate Spade brightened up the mailbox
- Each night, my dad and I had a 5 o’clock cocktail: a brandy old fashioned, Wisconsin’s signature drink.
- We rediscovered all sorts of treasures, like these earrings that belonged to my grandmother. (We also found a box of vintage ornaments left by the previous homeowner. Jackpot.)
- Reveling in spring
- Saying goodbye to my childhood home

Last weekend, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of our first date with an overnight getaway to Milwaukee. Most of Saturday was spent downtown indulging in dinner and cocktails, but we did stop at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory (“The Domes”) to try out my new camera. The warmth and humidity of the tropical dome was just an added bonus.
