This Van Cleef & Arpels ring absolutely breathtaking—and it should be, given its price tag. Get a similar look with cherry blossom ring from Shaun Leane (which is still a splurge at nearly $500) or pile on half a dozen dainty blossoms from Forever21 (start with this and this).

Happy Valentine’s Day! To celebrate, I’m wearing one of my biggest sartorial loves: this Erin Fetherston dress. There aren’t too many opportunities to wear a lip-print dress, so I’m taking full advantage of the holiday. (On a related note, did you see this sweater and this dress from Erin’s fall/winter collection? Need.)
Something I don’t love? Snow. At this point, the only thing it’s good for is taking photos. (Before you ask, my feet really weren’t that cold. Growing up in Wisconsin gives you an amazing tolerance for chilly weather. Besides, it was a heat wave of 15 degrees above zero.)
Wearing: J.Crew coat // Erin Fetherston dress (another style with the same print is available here) // ShoeMint heels // Chloe + Isabel necklace // Zoya “Blu” nail polish

So, who else is ready for summer brights? I’m really trying to be practical as I’m planning my spring and summer purchases (white chino shorts top my list), but I can’t help gravitating to Goshwara’s candy-colored baubles, Gucci’s bamboo pieces, Mara Hoffman’s joyful prints, and a Kotur clutch that’s just begging to be DIYed.
On a side note, has anyone tried on Gap’s striped flats? They look like a fab alternative to Joie’s “Day Dreaming” flats.
1. J.Crew, $45 // 2. Marco Bicego, $495 // 3. Mara Hoffman, $235 // 4. Gap, $40 // 5. Kotur, $850 // 6. Kenneth Jay Lane, $75 // 7. Gucci, $1,695 // 8. Goshwara, $1,950 // 9. Capwell, $38 // 10. Paul Andrew, $845 // 11. Splendid, $75
This is a PR collaboration, but all opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting the brands that support Bedknobs & Baubles!
Loving Lately
Lately, I’m loving:
- Layering a dainty heart ring c/o Jane Pope Jewelry with a collection of petite rings from Julie Vos. (I also love this set.)
- Jack Rodgers’ “Lauren” sandal in bone and black. I’ve heard great things about the brand, but I’m not really keen on their traditional Navajo style. Does anyone own the Lauren version?
- These adorable Loeffler Randall kitten heels in cobalt blue with, get this, scalloped edges. Scallops get me every time. I’m re-prioritizing my shopping list as we speak.
- Using some of my Sephora Beauty Insider Points on Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. I was restocking my supply of primer and lotion yesterday and happily discovered that that the larger-than-average sample was up for grabs. It’s always nice when they have something other than fragrance.
Behind the Brand: Tink + Tiger
If there’s one trend I’m on board with, it’s pajamas as day wear. But there’s one caveat. It needs to be as chic as the collection from Tink + Tiger. Based in Charleston, designer Amanda Greeley recently launched her collection to give women a sophisticated alternative to sleepwear—and the silk pyjama shirt doesn’t need to be saved for the bedroom. Throw it over a pair of jeans, add a menswear-inspired loafer and you have yourself a smart ensemble for a relaxed weekend brunch.
Shop It: Jane Pyjama Shirt, $110 // Mara Playsuit, $128 // Sloane Silk Pant, $128 // Amelia Silk Shirtdress, $198 // Silk Tiger Short, $88 // Tiger Short, $58 // Silk Jane Pyjama Shirt, $158
