I’ve never been one for an embellished day bag. A bright color, certainly, but fussy zippers and tassels and studs just don’t do it for me. That’s why I find the collection by up-and-comer Lauren Cecchi so appealing. Her elegant handbags are timeless investment pieces manufactured in the heart of NYC. (The leather comes from a tannery upstate and the bags and hardware are manufactured in the city.) There are three sizes to choose from in multiple colors and you can select the hardware finish that suits you best. Personally, I’m all about the white Sorella handbag with silver hardware.
