Before you say anything, I know it’s hard to think about spring with the country is in a deep freeze. But I just couldn’t help myself when it came to putting together a bright and cheerful collage to kick off the year! It’s a little selfish, too, since I’m embarking on a “No Shop January” challenge to curb non-essential spending. So by the time February rolls around, it won’t be too early to add springlike picks to my wardrobe (even if I won’t be able to wear them for another month or two). And I’m likely going to start with a piece in that pretty marigold hue that’s popping up this year!

This week’s roundup is basically my entire spring must-have list. In fact, I ordered the shorts, hat, and bandana over the weekend, along with a different red swimsuit! But the shining star of this week’s “The Coveted” is definitely that faux leather duffel bag with the gold pineapple print. I already have a gorgeous leather weekender that I just adore, but this one is awfully tempting to add to my travel arsenal.

They’re not featured above, but look at the strappy pearl sandals I found at Zara this morning! They’re absolutely perfect for your little black and white dresses this spring and summer, not to mention an incredibly affordable way to get in on the pearl-embellishment trend. And while we’re on the subject of shoes, the adorable ruffled sneakers that graced the Tory Burch spring 2017 runway are finally available!

I’m so hopeful that this dress will go on sale for at least 50% off so I can get my hands on it. I’m absolutely obsessed with the print, the colors, and the shirt dress silhouette. It’s one of those pieces that you can throw on with a pair of ballet flats and head to work without a second thought. Another piece I have my eye on this week is this pair of beaded statement earrings by Tory Burch (not featured above). They’re gigantic! I have a $200 Visa gift card that I received at Christmas and I’m tempted to put it toward the statement drops. They’re just too good to pass up.
