I’m rarely smitten with Banana Republic’s baubles, but this vintage-inspired aqua necklace is gorgeous. I love the ombre effect of the acrylic beads with a subtle string of rhinestones for just a bit of daytime glitz. Wear it now with a LBD and keep it in rotation as summer approaches. Wouldn’t it look divine with a breezy maxi dress?(View comments)
I’ve been a fan of House of Lavande’s costume jewelry for awhile now and I’m even more so after spotting this necklace from their fall/winter collection. The iciness of the opalescent glass would look as beautiful against cozy winter knits as it would with a breezy dress this summer.(View comments)
If there were ever a time to break out your spangliest bauble, now would be it. (Bonus points if it comes in the shape of a Christmas tree or wreath!) Hope you’re enjoying all of the festivities this week!(View comments)
I gave the riding boots another whirl. This time, with an outfit that was much more me: a dress. I’m a convert. They’re just so freaking comfortable and much warmer than a pair of flats. (I’ve been missing out for years!) In other news, I purchased this J.Crew coat from Net-a-Porter during the summer sale for $150ish and it’s as cozy as a woolen blanket. When it goes on sale again, don’t be surprised if I add the heather peony version to my closet.View comments)
Kate Spade’s holiday collection was released last week and, as always, everything is so darn cute. There’s a champagne bottle coin purse, a floral-print scarf I’ll probably buy, and this unbelievable necklace. One look at the rhinestone ribbon put me in a festive mood. Bring on the egg nog, tinsel and Bing Crosby, STAT.(View comments)
I’m a pretty firm believer that if you wore a trend the first time it was popular, you should probably stay away from it the second time around. It’s why I’ve been hesitant to wear a nameplate necklace again. No, I didn’t wear one when Carrie Bradshaw made it popular. I wore one when I was seven years old. I found the little 14” necklace when I was packing up my childhood bedroom and, with all sentimental pieces, I tucked it away for safekeeping.
When oNecklace asked if I’d be interested in featuring one of their name necklaces, I couldn’t bring myself to wear my first name on my collarbone again. Instead, I opted for a cheeky “Bonjour” necklace in the Alegro script.View comments)
The fall colors here are in full force, but the peak season won’t last much longer. This Elizabeth Cole necklace is a lovely way to enjoy the season’s fiery hues as long as possible.(View comments)
Pairing jade with black is one of my favorite color combinations. Add in a bit of mint and it’s even prettier, especially at a price point of just $25. This necklace will look lovely with summer’s palm prints.(View comments)
