#baubleoftheday
If there’s one thing I adore more than my own jewelry collection, it’s seeing your gems on Instagram—and I’d love to share them on the blog! Tag your jewelry photos with #baubleoftheday and @bedknobsandbaubles (so I can find it later) and I’ll post a roundup showcasing a selection of your beautiful baubles. I’d love to do it weekly, but we’ll shoot for monthly until this catches on!

Loving Lately
Lately, I’m loving:
- My third pair of striped canvas shoes this season. After purchasing this pair from the Gap and block heel pumps from Tory Burch, I welcomed even more stripes into my closet: a pair of loafers from J.Crew. I used a Christmas gift card on them, so I didn’t feel too guilty making the purchase. However, it’s probably time to slow my roll.
- Incredibly affordable handmade Greek sandals I just discovered on Etsy. I’m debating between this pair and this pair, or both, considering they’re under $40 each. An absolute steal compared to the Ancient Greek Sandals brand if you’re smitten with simpler designs.
- Working on my European packing list, which was an excuse to order this dress from LOFT. It hasn’t arrived yet, but doesn’t it look like the perfect dress to go from sightseeing to dinner? Other than that, I’ve purchased a couple of Baggu bags to tuck in my purse and I’m considering this neck pillow (not the most glam, but I need to sleep on the plane) and sanitizing wipes (lavender is much more appealing than the standard-issue alcohol scent).
Outfitted
If you’re following along on Instagram, you know I recently treated myself to a DVF dress as an early birthday present. I loved the dress when it debuted with DVF’s spring collection, but it was out of price range at $545. So, you can imagine how excited I was to spot it on sale—in my size!—at Bergdorf Goodman last week for $190, barely more than I’d spend on a J.Crew dress. Serendipity! (Here’s the link I used in case a return happens to pop back online.) I still need to take it to a tailor to have the bodice brought in, but other than that, it’s pretty much perfect.

Bauble of the Week
ASHA, $175
Now that it’s finally starting to warm up, it’s time to pack away piles of rhinestones and switch to lighter, sculptural jewelry like this bangle bracelet from ASHA. There’s also a hoop earring version if you’re not keen on metal resting against your skin in humid weather.
