…piles of gems and jewels to make getting dressed more fun.
Bauble of the Week
Jewelry? Art piece? Whatever you call it, this is one jaw dropping ring from Erickson Beamon.
Bauble of the Week
Pair this cuff with an itty bitty sundress (like the one from Friday’s post) and you’ve got yourself an effortless outfit for languid summer days.
Behind the Baubles: Elva Fields
Emily Wheat Maynard, Designer, Elva Fields
Designer Emily Wheat Maynard explored the relationship between Italian Renaissance and ancient Greek and Roman jewelry for her Masters thesis at The Bard Graduate Center for Decorative Arts, Design, and Culture in New York City. This passion for historic jewelry inspired Emily to take a semester at the Jewelry Arts Institute in Manhattan to acquire the skills necessary to launch Elva Fields Jewelry in 2003. Her line features vintage and antique finds that are reworked into stunning necklaces and earrings.

Bauble of the Week
Melinda Maria’s aqua onyx pieces are stunning, but I’m particularly fond of this pair of earrings for its unique shape and subtle pyramid studs. (Her items are worth the splurge. I have one of her cuffs and I adore it. You can see it here.)
