This week, I’m coveting:

A linen dress with pretty dip-dyed ruffled sleeves. Shift dresses rarely work on me, so I’m envious of the ladies who can pull of this pretty summer frock! Wouldn’t it be fun to wear to a gallery opening? It would look incredible paired with this necklace.
A ring that makes cocktail hour even more fun.
A small handbag that makes a big statement. I’m obsessed with this bag, but if you aren’t into the embellishments, this version comes in cream, orange, and light blue.
Everything at the Lulu Frost sample sale. This necklace tops my wish list. Some of the brand’s newer pieces (like the horn pendant and scarab earrings) are on sale at Net-a-Porter here.
The unexpected braided leather detail on this pair of sunglasses.
Stemless wine glasses with pineapples on them. As if I needed more reason to buy a bar cart… They also come in a palm tree version and with flamingos.
A pair of everyday flats. After this cast is off, I’m stuck with sensible footwear for the rest of the summer. I’ll probably have a few weeks of sneakers before transitioning into something more fun, like Tory Burch Reva ballet flats (shop ’em here).

This week, I’m coveting:

An embroidered dress on sale at Nordstrom for 50% off. Pair it with simple sandals.
Lulu Frost’s stone inlay pieces. I adore the mix of lace agate, sodalite, pyrite, goldstone, and red jasper in these stud earrings.
Serious statement wedges from Loeffler Randall.
An embellished bag to liven up your easiest summer dresses.
Mosaic-inspired shorts with an elastic waistband for the hottest summer days.
An amazing horn pendant that I’m tempted to purchase in June.
The prettiest patriotic bra and underwear set.

Before I delve into the items that caught my eye this week, there’s a huge event worth mentioning: Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Sale. It’s your chance to snag spring and summer merchandise at up to 40% off. Some of my favorites include a black trapeze sexy ball gown prom dress, a work-appropriate satchel, a “Nudist” sandal knockoff (or get the real version in navy on sale here), and simple leather sandals by Tory Burch (metallics available here). Now that that’s squared away, here’s what caught my eye this week:

A zigzag eyelet shell in navy. Aside from this top, I’m disappointed in J.Crew’s new arrivals this month. Who’s going to pay $110 for an ugly yarn and seed bead choker? The product description says, “So if someone asks if you made it yourself, you have our permission to say yes.” I wouldn’t take credit for it and evidently J.Crew doesn’t want to either. And then there’s this. What the hell? And these! Because plastic in the summer is always a good idea.
Ben-Amun statement earrings. In fact, there are many gorgeous new arrivals from the designer on The Outnet right now. Most earrings are under $100.
A sweet little notebook. I’d like to start bringing a journal on vacations to record daily activities and observations. I usually assume Facebook is good enough, but I’m forgetful and a notebook is much more romantic.
Culottes! They’re so ridiculous, but I still want a pair. White would look pretty with that J.Crew shell… Shop a selection of white culottes and other white pants here.
A navy bucket bag. Navy is by far my favorite color, but I have yet to add a bag in the hue to my collection. I’m also obsessed with this bag. I saw it at the Tory Burch boutique last month and haven’t stopped thinking about it.
Iridescent slides on sale! I also love these and the iridescent version of the heels I wore to a wedding last month.

This week, I’m smitten with:

Floral sunglasses. These are such a ridiculous splurge, but they’d be so fun to wear all summer. Here’s a low-cost alternative.

One of my purchases from the Shopbop Friends & Family sale, which runs through the end of today: a pretty pair of Loeffler Randall “Amelia” sandals. You know I prefer wearing flats, but sometimes a girl just needs a pretty pair of heels. There are other colors available at Piperlime. They’re not on sale right now, but I’m sure they’ll be on promotion eventually with Piperlime’s upcoming closure.
Classic chambray stripes.
And my other Shopbop purchase: a stunning Kenneth Jay Lane necklace. It’s scheduled to arrive today, just in time to head into my suitcase for next week’s vacation.

This week, I’m smitten with:

A breezy striped dress for only $59. There are free shipping and free returns at Urban Outfitters with orders over $50, so it’s worth a try. This Loft version is just as pretty if you’d rather have a midi dress.
A pair of ankle-wrap sandals from Splendid that come in at just $108.
Banana leaf throw pillows. I’m not sure I’ll ever grow tired of this tropical print!
Gorgeous statement earrings for $38.
A laser-cut circle skirt to wear to work all season long.
A ceramic pineapple jar. You’ll have to sign up for Dot & Bo to purchase this (here’s my referral link, if you feel so inclined), which is kind of annoying. So, here are the details: the jar is 4.5″ in diameter, 7.75″ high, and is priced at $25.99.
Shopbop’s sale! Tons of spring items are marked down, including Rebecca Minkoff bags. I can’t get over how cute the mini bucket bag is!
