We leave for Belgium this Thursday and I’m hopeful that Tory Burch’s signature fragrance brings back fond memories long after we plant our feet back on American soil.

Designer duds are normally the most prized in my wardrobe, but it’s not because of the name brand. It’s the attention to detail that wins me over. Take this pair of Tory Burch sandals, for instance. They’re not for everyone and they hurt like hell, but I’m crazy about ‘em (as long as I don’t have far to walk).

I knew Jennifer of Frippery Vintage would find incredible pieces when she went globetrotting to Italy in search of treasures for her shop, but I didn’t expect her to find the most jaw dropping vintage cocktail ring I’ve ever seen. Two Instagram photos later (here and here), I knew I had to add the gobstopper-size bauble to my collection. It’s everything I love about vintage costume jewelry: brightly colored, oversize, and I won’t see it on someone else. (But if I do spot a lookalike, I’ll know the owner has excellent taste.)
Featured: Ann Taylor jacket (also love this striped blazer) // J.Crew sweater // Banana Republic pants // DVF purse (same style in snakeprint) // vintage ring // Essie’s “Muchi, Muchi” polish

I purchased this ring from Karen Hsiang not longer after featuring her in a “Behind the Baubles” post. Trust me, the sensual curves of her designs are even prettier in person! I’ve been wearing it nearly everyday and I especially adore how it looks stacked with the Cynthia Jones ring below.

A few weeks ago, Bijuju sent over a care package of baubles and clutches—two of my favorite things! I’ve already worn a necklace here, but I had to dedicate a post to one of the standout pieces from the gift: these earrings.
First off, they’re $16. (I know!) And while they’re not exactly understated at 1.4” long, the soft grey hue keeps them professional enough for the work week. (Fortunately I don’t have to adhere to a humdrum dress code, but I’m sure some of you do.)
Without getting too lovey, dovey about the brand, go ahead and give the site a perusal. There are hordes of budget-friendly gems for the holidays—for yourself or to tuck into the stocking of a lucky recipient.
