While I’m a little sad that summer is coming to its unofficial end, I’m looking forward to fewer social obligations on my agenda. For months, we’ve had plans nearly every week night and weekend making it difficult to make time for hobbies like pottery, gardening, and the blog. But it really was a lovely summer as evidenced by the snapshots above: from summer nights playing bocce to participating in my first wood kiln to evenings on the Capitol lawn for the orchestra’s annual summer concert series to making zucchini bars. For now, though, I’m looking forward to getting back in a routine — starting with the weekly roundup of notable links:
