Dressing Like a Danish Girl

May 2, 2016 by jessica

Naturalizer Kail Sneaker

When I was doing our trip research, I read that Danish girls wore a lot of neutral colors and paired their ensembles with sneakers almost exclusively. It only took one day out in the city to realize how true that was. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a higher concentration of sneakers in one location before! Just about everyone wore them, including women who paired athletic footwear with skirts and dresses. Naturalizer had sent over a pair of their new “Kail” croc-embossed sneakers ($69) before our trip, giving me the perfect option to blend in with the locals for a day of sightseeing. The shoe offers a flexible sole with extra cushioning, and a breathable lining — features I was grateful for given that we walked an average of 10 miles per day! We haven’t done much in the way of exercise since we’ve been back, but I’m planning to change that in time for Naturalizer’s Walk Together Day on May 7. In honor of Mother’s Day Weekend, Naturalizer is urging you to take a moment to thank the inspirational women in your life and share those moments with #SHAREtheWALK. You can also save 20% and receive free shipping during the promotion this weekend with code TOGETHER. It’s valid from May 5 to 8.

Love those shoes!!! I actually bought a similar pair when I had free money for one of those cheap sites. Sadly they were huge and disgustingly made, haha. These look great! And I love them paired with the skirt

Hello! I’m also a blogger. I blog about art/lifestyle and diy mostly. I was searching for beautiful style blogs that I enjoy so that I can expand my community. <3

I'm looking to build my community and look for any advice you could offer as well! I know many use blogger and community-driven websites but I have a domain.. I've also heard of bloggers promoting content through blog listings like bloglovin', as well as sites where you can earn promotional opportunities for content like Advowire or Klout (I did join one recently: https://advowire.com//users/profile/new?referral_code=AW36707). Do you use any of these sites to promote content or collaborate with other bloggers? Do you know of other sites/resources you'd like to recommend?

Thank you so much for reading! Hope to hear from you. xox

You look like such a cute danish girl! I love the slim lines of the sneakers and croc embossing is a nice detail.
