Wintergreen

November 17, 2014 by jessica

Wintergreen1

[dropcap custom_class=”normal”]M[/dropcap]adison didn’t escape the snow for too long and the first accumulation of the season means one thing: a return to my winter uniform. You’ll find me wearing a sweater, skirt, tights, and a pair of Hunter boots almost exclusively until the first thaw. It’s an easy fallback and practical wellies keep my real shoes from being ruined by slush and salt. (You’ll want to wear a pair of thick hiking socks with them if you live in a cold climate because the rubber gets far too cold for just a pair of tights. I like this pair. They’re not the cutest, but they sure are warm.)

You look so cozy and chic. I tried on this coat and it is fabulous but it was not worth the buy considering where I live. I need to get some outfit ideas from you for my trip.

    Jessica,

You look cute, love the color of your coat. Also, I got your comment…yes, its hilarious that other parts of the country has snow and we have snow with a hint of wind. 🙂

I love the bright green coat on you, it’s exactly what you need for the winter!

I am really excited that I have a pair of the Joules wellies, just waiting for some gross weather. After you said how warm they were I thought I’d give them a try.

Let me know what you think of ’em! They’re definitely warmer than the Hunter pair. Mine are bright turquoise and don’t always go well with my outfit, but I do love them.

Honestly? I’m kind of dreading the snow after last year but you’ve managed to make it look oh-so-fun and cute!
