This week, I’m coveting:

A versatile silk shirtdress. The understated print and ladylike ruffled hem makes this an autumn must-have. Wear it now with strappy sandal heels (like these) and later with borrowed-from-the-boys oxfords.
Emoji loafers! Take your time scrolling through the options and reading the corresponding hashtag. I love the color of this pair, but thought this #bombshell pair was especially clever.
Mirrored aviators because summer isn’t over yet.
The scalloped leather details on this drawstring bag (also available in black). It’s such a fun piece for an evening out, even if the scallops and grommets make it look a little bit like an owl.
J.Crew’s swing pullover. I live in my BR “Sloan” pants at work in the cooler months and prefer wearing them with relaxed tops. The swing silhouette and split hem make this a no brainer for long days at work and an easy transition to weekend wear. I’m probably going to pick it up in heather hydrangea and grey before the season is over.

This week, I’m coveting:

The peek-a-boo waist detail on an Elizabeth and James dress. The sophisticated color makes the airy dress the perfect transitional piece this fall.
The wallet version of Chloé’s must-have bag. Understandably, everyone is obsessed with the “Drew” bag right now. The wallet is just as chic and can double as a clutch.
Iosselliani’s asymmetrical earrings. They come in blue, green, and red.
This beautiful blue-grey nail polish (it’s the “Anise” shade). There’s also a deal on Deborah Lippmann’s “Undressed” nail polish set that comes with six mini bottles of neutral shades for $34. (It’s my favorite beauty steal during the #NSale, along with the Clinique moisturizer I always use.)
Menswear-inspired ankle boots from Tory Burch. Every fall I look for the perfect pair of booties and every fall I fail miserably. I love the “Hyde” version in patent navy. The kilt detail is removable for a more understated look.
Tibi’s off-the-shoulder top in wool twill. I love the top on everyone, but didn’t think a $300 price tag was worth it for cotton or denim. However, I’m tempted by this grey wool version. It’s a bit more expensive, but would look beautiful with my favorite slim pants and the loafers I recently added to my wardrobe.
This faux leather pleated skirt. It’s by far my favorite piece from J.Crew’s new arrivals. I prefer the navy version and would love to wear it with preppy sailor stripes.

In other news, I ordered this Topshop striped dress from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and this swing dress from the regular sale section. The swing dress is absolutely darling! It’s fully lined, lightweight for steamy days, and just $29. I’m planning to bring it to Louisville this weekend, but wanted to at least mention it in case it sells out before I post photos. I went up a size, since it’s a junior’s item. The Topshop dress, on the other hand, did not work for my body. It was large on top, but too snug around the hips. It would be adorable on someone tall and lean, though!

This week, I’m coveting:

Sporty details on this dress from LOFT. It’s such an easy piece to throw on with a pair of slides before heading out for the day. I’m also curious to try on this dress in white. The back detail looks so pretty.
My most recent purchase: a pair of black Puma sneakers. I can finally cast aside my crutches and go full weight-bearing on my boot for two weeks. After that, it’s sneakers for this gal for another four weeks. I picked up the black pair to mix and match with black and white ensembles for workdays and weekends. I’m also looking for a pair of white slip-on sneakers. I have these in my shopping cart, but I’m open to alternatives. I just don’t want to spend too much on something I probably won’t wear often.
This magenta ladylike bag. It’s on sale for $325, which is currently out of my price range, but I really wish it wasn’t. I keep thinking of how fantastic it would look with my green winter coat.
These incredible geometric earrings. They’re huge and I love ’em.
An easy black dress. Has anyone tried it on yet? It looks like it could be one of J.Crew’s hidden gems.

Playful pillows. I’m on an apartment redecorating kick and have already picked up a new rug and ordered a coffee table. New couches are a bit out of our budget right now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t spruce things up with a new set of pillows, right? This pillow from West Elm has the same colors as the Trina Turk version at a wallet-friendly price.
