You may have noticed that I’m more likely to splurge on a clutch than a larger alternative. Even though totes are ultra practical and I do carry one to work, I much prefer the ease of small bags. They don’t hurt my shoulders, my must-haves are close at hand and it forces me to be tidy. (There’s just no room for it to become a bottomless pit of receipts!) Summer is rapidly coming to an end, but I’m taking advantage of every last warm day with these tropical-meets-modern earrings from Color by Amber, a collection of environmentally friendly jewelry. The brand’s sustainable mission is certainly evident in its business practices (nothing goes to a landfill), but also in its primary design material called “ecoresin.” Ecoresin encapsulates the decorative elements in the jewelry and is made with 40% pre-consumer recycled content. I’m crushing on a pair of purposefully mismatched earrings by Zoe Chicco. The black and white pave diamonds make for a perfect everyday earring, but I’m also fond of her minuscule pyramid studs.
