Uniform Style

January 5, 2015 by jessica

Jan15Outfit1v1

One of the best things about starting a new year is a chance to enjoy the gorgeous gifts received over the holidays! I certainly don’t want to be part of the sickening “holiday haul” posts (you’d think everyone would realize that the best part of the holidays is spending time with loved ones), but I do want to share just how well my boyfriend did with this J.Crew peacoat. I tend to wear my coats on repeat until they fall apart, so it’s nice to have an alternative to theΒ green coat I’ve been wearing nonstop since last autumn (which, by the way, is indestructible). Paired with my beloved neoprene skirt and a striped shirt, I feel like I should be exploring London’s Notting Hill instead of hanging out in Madison.

I don’t think I can stomach anything other than fruits and veggies right now! Too many holiday indulgences! (Although, there IS fruit in an Old Fashioned…)

He did an awesome job. Its a very nice coat. I’m the same way, I wear my coats to they fall apart. My coats are worn for years, mainly because we do not get much Winter here. For Christmas I got a new coat, but it didn’t fit. So, I guess I better go hunting for an exchange.

Wow, what a stunning coat! I have an old black peacoat but it’s absolutely covered in cat hair with pretty much no way to get it off…it’s sad and the reason why I haven’t gotten a new one even though they look SO chic!

The pea coat is perfection! Well done Dave! I’m happy to have added some lovely pieces to my closet from the holidays as well, and I agree, no one needs a round up of all the stuff you got.

Lately I’ve been a failure, living in jeans and the same pair of boots. Shirking skirts and dresses due to the cold.

I read the title of the post as “Unicorn Style”. Uniforms are cool, too — and I love the peacoat πŸ™‚

Unicorn Style would be a pretty awesome blog, though!
