Behind the Baubles: Tarin Thomas

September 30, 2015 by jessica

The next time you’re in search of dainty stacking rings, look no further than Tarin Thomas. Designer Kylie Nakao worked as a buyer for a New York boutique after graduating from Parsons School of Art & Design. Kylie reviewed jewelry from hundreds of vendors each season and noticed a lack of what she calls “cool, sophisticated, real jewelry,” the everyday pieces that mix seamlessly with the rest of one’s jewelry wardrobe. And with that, the Tarin Thomas collection was born. The pieces are a modern take on fine jewelry, created with precious and semi-precious gemstones and produced in sterling silver and gold.

Oh that signet ring is gorgeous! I’ve been searching for a cute one (and the one BaubleBar makes doesn’t come in my ring size) and this is simply stunning! Thanks for sharing, this was such a fun and informational post!

I know I can be a bit of a jewelry snob, but I think a signet ring is definitely worth spending more. It’s such a classic piece that you’ll own forever if you find the right one. Have you looked at local jewelers? I’m leaning toward getting one for my pinky, but I’ll probably shop in person.

I need to get to my local jewelers, I think I’m going to end up getting a more expensive one since its such a classic piece like you said and I want a high-quality metal. I’ve never been a pinky-ring wearer, but I have seen other bloggers wear theirs on their pinkies and it really does look great!
