Madewell Gingham Dress, Redux

March 16, 2016 by jessica

Madewell Gingham Dress

This dress is definitely growing on me. I wore it for the second time last weekend (here’s the first round) for a rainy Sunday of visiting open houses (including the prettiest home from the late 1800s that we would have considered if it wasn’t so far away from Madison). The weather was terrible and only one photo made the cut, but sometimes that’s all you need!

Dress: Madewell “Courier” Buffalo Check Shirtdress (also here and here)
Jacket: Target
Purse: Rebecca Minkoff “Mini Affair” (the blue one is half price)
Shoes: Louise et Cie (similar)
Sunglasses: Karen Walker “Number One”
Rings: Monica Vinader, c/o Julie Vos
Lips: Stila “Betsey”
Nails: YSL “Day Bloomer”

I am in love with this dress, and the way that you have styled it. The best pieces in a wardrobe are always the most versatile ones. Great look!

Ooh I love that jacket! Such a great shape and looks great paired with the dress!
Even though the weather was yucky sounds like it was a good day of house hunting!

Sending all the good house-hunting vibes. We’re planning on buying in two years, but I continue to go on Zillow to see what is in our price range and the neighborhoods we want to live in. All that means is we’re saving all our pennies to hopefully find a great home on the near west side…

When you’re ready to start seriously looking, sign up for alerts on https://www.redfin.com/. From what I understand, it’s more accurate than Zillow.
