Sale Alert: Lele Sadoughi for Under $150

Sale Alert: Lele Sadoughi for under $150

When I received a sale alert yesterday from Lele Sadoughi, I couldn’t help but to purchase the Maraca pendant I’ve had my eye on for a year! (It’s the first piece in the upper, left corner of this collage.) There are over 100 gorgeous gems on sale and many come in at $150 or less, including everything here. You can also receive an additional 15% off (code: LSD15) by signing up for the mailing list! I’m having a bear of a time getting the link to the sale page to work in this post, so just click here to be taken to the retail page and then click the sale tab on top. I can’t wait to see what you pick!

Madewell Gingham Dress, Redux

Madewell Gingham Dress

This dress is definitely growing on me. I wore it for the second time last weekend (here’s the first round) for a rainy Sunday of visiting open houses (including the prettiest home from the late 1800s that we would have considered if it wasn’t so far away from Madison). The weather was terrible and only one photo made the cut, but sometimes that’s all you need!

*This reminds me of a vintage lawn chair, which makes me love it even more.

**This isn’t budget-friendly. This dress has a similar ethereal vibe for half the price.

Gingham Girl

Madewell Gingham Dress

Another week, another dress I’m likely packing for our upcoming trip. (Which is coming up in 24 days, but who’s counting?) I’m completely on the fence about this dress, though. One one hand, it’s incredibly comfortable (so soft!) and easy to pull on for weekend wear. On the other hand, it’s a bit too tomboy for my usual tastes. If you spring for it, it does run true to size and I’d recommend adding a slip underneath for extra coverage when you sit down (the space between the buttons can gap open if you’re not careful).

The Weekend Guide

The Weekend Guide 03.11.16

WEAR
Oversize earrings are by far my favorite trend this spring. In fact, I have these midnight blue earrings and this springlike pair on my wish list already. Here are three easy tips for nailing the look.

SHOP
If there’s one person who gives me serious wanderlust, it’s Gray Malin. His latest photos from St. Barths are stunning and I’ve already pre-ordered his upcoming book. When we close on a house, I’m definitely buying one of the larger prints for our new place. (We’re putting the house hunt on the back burner for a month and will resume when we get back from our Europe trip.)

SIP
The weather has been incredible here in Wisconsin. We’re dragging out the patio furniture this weekend for cocktails and board games in the fresh air. This grapefruit and sage champagne cocktail sounds like the perfect drink.

SPRING
Don’t forget to set your watch ahead an hour this Sunday! Here are eight things you may not know about the ritual.

YEARN
If only I could be in Paris right now for Iris Apfel’s exhibit.

FRAME
Five online companies are making it easier to frame your art without breaking the bank.

EARLIER THIS WEEK
It was another week filled with stressful days and sleepless nights. Our vacation can’t come soon enough!
I wore a couple of fall favorites into spring.
Yearned for colorful items.
Enjoyed a cappuccino that went a bit overboard with the foam.
Bejeweled myself with a few old favorites.
Fell in love with a new nail polish. (Snag it here.)
Tried this recipe last night, which was good, but too indulgent to be a mainstay!

Finishing our guest room has been a focus of ours Finishing our guest room has been a focus of ours this year, and the cute Teig Lamp from Schoolhouse is such a charming addition to the space. It’s named for the German word for “dough,” which is perfect for its soft, petite shape.

I’m challenging myself to get through a backlog I’m challenging myself to get through a backlog of travel photos before we book our next trip. First up, photos of the gothic York Minster. I’m not religious in the slightest but I can’t resist stunning architecture and the opportunity to climb hundreds of cathedral stairs for a city view. This one only had a single rest stop about halfway up the flight of 275 steps for a closeup view of the flying buttresses — and a waiver you had to sign before your ascent to promise you’re healthy enough to make it.
