Welcome to week two of Art Deco “Baubles of the Week.” What can I say? When I like something, I don’t move on very quickly. In last week’s post, Lorena mentioned that the Tiffany ring wasn’t as fabulous in person. No matter. I’m becoming more and more enamored with these 14k gold Deco rings by Grace Lee Designs.

A few weeks ago, Bijuju sent over a care package of baubles and clutches—two of my favorite things! I’ve already worn a necklace here, but I had to dedicate a post to one of the standout pieces from the gift: these earrings.
First off, they’re $16. (I know!) And while they’re not exactly understated at 1.4” long, the soft grey hue keeps them professional enough for the work week. (Fortunately I don’t have to adhere to a humdrum dress code, but I’m sure some of you do.)
Without getting too lovey, dovey about the brand, go ahead and give the site a perusal. There are hordes of budget-friendly gems for the holidays—for yourself or to tuck into the stocking of a lucky recipient.
I included this Tiffany ring in Thursday’s “Currently Coveting” post, but its Art Deco design and engraved daisy pattern deserve the spotlight this week—and a place in my jewelry box. I’ve been gazing dreamily at this ring everyday for well over a week. Even though I don’t think I’ll find a little blue box under the Christmas tree, it’s a mighty fine contender for my 2014 tax return splurge.
Ironically, the older I get, the more likely I am to reach for a whimsical accessory. However, it’s imperative that it’s juxtaposed with a sleek ensemble. Brandy Pham nails this sweet-meet-modern aesthetic with her namesake line. I’ve certainly been crushing on her black cat ring, but the needle cuff from her latest collection quickly won me over – almost as much as the heart-melting smile of her newborn!
