In the Know

July 23, 2012 by jessica

Mondays are the perfect time to add new sparkle to your jewelry box  – especially since it’s the last day of the Astley Clarke sale. I learned of the brand through Twitter and purchased this ring not long after. (It’s featured in this post.) I can’t even tell you how happy I am with it. I admit that the shipping costs are a little pricey, but it is coming from overseas and arrives in less than a week. Totally worth the extra cash.

  1. Fanfare Necklace, now $95
  2. Sonatina Ring, now $35
  3. Box Studs, now $175
  4. Sparkle Enamel Ring, now $45
  5. Luna Cocktail Earrings, now $175
  6. Archipelago Ring, now $70
  7. Small Pebble Ring, now $70

Note: this is NOT a sponsored post. I’m just really happy with my experience with the brand and want to share it with you!

Weekend Snapshots

July 23, 2012 by jessica

Weekend Snapshots:

  1. Strolling through the farmers’ market
  2. Borrowing Dave’s Wayfarers and stacking bracelets: Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Banana Republic Factory Store
  3. Picking up a cable knit sweater from Lands’ End Canvas during Maxwell Street Days – I can’t wait to wear it with that taffeta skirt this fall
  4. Getting a roll of film developed is way more exciting than digital photography

Bauble of the Week

July 22, 2012 by jessica

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen this bracelet countless times and there’s good reason for it. Not only is it gorgeous, it’s perfectly suited for small wrists (a surprisingly hard thing to find in a bracelet). Best of all, it’s only $28.

It’s the Little Things

July 20, 2012 by jessica

Play your cards right.

I caved and  went over my July budget to acquire this Astley Clarke ring. And you know what? It was totally worth it.

An ever-growing collection of coral: Kate Spade purse, Banana Republic Factory Store bracelet and Old Navy shorts.

Top 3: Sailor Rope Bracelets

July 19, 2012 by jessica

I’ve never been sailing, but it doesn’t stop me from loving all things nautical: Breton stripes, anchor motifs and sailor rope bracelets. Here are three of my favorite brands for a seafaring addition to your bracelet stack:

  • Sailormade – The Brummel Collection at Sailormade uses a brummel hook as a clasp for a sleek, refined look.
My pick: the Endeavor wrap bracelet in red, $115
  • Kiel James Patrick – An anchor clasp adds a new dimension to this traditional braided rope bracelet.
My pick: the Blakes Yacht Club bracelet in navy and white, $40
  • The Ropes of Maine – A color-blocked twist on the nautical trend with delightfully oversize hardware.
My pick: a navy and seafoam combination, $60
