Why hello there! Time sure flies, doesn’t it? The past month and a half has been incredibly busy with work, so the last thing I want to do when I have time to myself is be on the computer. Instead, I’ve been spending my free time at the pottery studio, dusting off the bicycle for the year, cultivating my green thumb, and hanging out with the cutest cat (I know, I’m biased).

It’s getting too warm for our down comforter, so I placed an order for the quilt that I’ve had my eye on! It arrives today and is great motivation to finish up our bedroom design and share photos with you!

I feel like a broken record with “it’s been awhile,” but it’s been awhile! I’ve been incredibly busy lately between work, pottery (I’m now a studio member!), and our long weekend away in Denver. Why, hello! It’s been awhile, hasn’t it? Work has been incredibly busy lately and my free time has been split between going to the pottery studio, getting together with friends, and tackling projects around the house. Last week was the final session of my most recent pottery class and it’s fun to see how much I’ve improved since my first time on the wheel. Three of my latest pieces are above. These are dipped in white glaze and ready to be put in the kiln for their final firing, which will transform the matte glaze into a shiny, glass-like texture.
