Last weekend’s summery temperatures were perfect for a morning at the farmers’ market – and for this breezy Diane von Furstenberg dress. I had fallen for this dress when it was first released, but couldn’t afford it at full price. Patience and perseverance (blind obsession?) paid off a year later when I found it on eBay for $60. Now, if only I could have that same luck with a certain Kate Spade clutch topped with a pineapple clasp.

I splurged on these shoes early last year, well before the pastel trend was on the horizon. So, you can imagine my delight when mint came out in full force this year. Just call me (and Kate Spade) a trend setter.

The best things come in small packages and many times they come tucked into a Christmas stocking. Rouge pants are a beloved staple in my closet, but I hadn’t worn them as often as I’d like until I brought them to a tailor. Now that the pants hit right above my ankle, they’re the perfect accompaniment to ladylike heels and a billowy blouse.
