Currently Coveting

Right now, I’m coveting:

  • The Gerard Yosca necklace I scored on Gilt this morning. It’s an absolute steal at just $39.
  • A metallic tub and anchor wallpaper
  • Woven clutches by Kayu (I can’t choose a favorite, but this one comes close)
  • A beach umbrella with whimsical pom-pom trim
  • Statement candle snuffers
  • Striped sleepwear
  • Tiny anchor earrings

For Home | For You

I think it’s safe to assume that I’ll never tire of the nautical trend. (Though, I doubt it can be called a “trend” when it comes back year after year. Perhaps “classic nautical motifs” is more accurate.) Add an anchor bottle opener to your summer bar cart or set sail in an anchor-print swimsuit.

Bauble of the Week

April 21, 2013 by jessica Leave a Comment

I bought a Kiel James Patrick rope bracelet last year (I couldn’t pass up the anchor closure), but this Jeweliq bracelet is a more affordable alternative. It’s just $17 with free shipping and is also available in red and navy.

Top 3: Sailor Rope Bracelets

July 19, 2012 by jessica Leave a Comment

I’ve never been sailing, but it doesn’t stop me from loving all things nautical: Breton stripes, anchor motifs and sailor rope bracelets. Here are three of my favorite brands for a seafaring addition to your bracelet stack:

  • Sailormade – The Brummel Collection at Sailormade uses a brummel hook as a clasp for a sleek, refined look.
My pick: the Endeavor wrap bracelet in red, $115
  • Kiel James Patrick – An anchor clasp adds a new dimension to this traditional braided rope bracelet.
My pick: the Blakes Yacht Club bracelet in navy and white, $40
  • The Ropes of Maine – A color-blocked twist on the nautical trend with delightfully oversize hardware.
My pick: a navy and seafoam combination, $60

For You…

This slouchy, affordable sweater is incredibly cute for working at home!

For Home…

I bought this candle holder and it’s gorgeous, but it is delicate as one review states. You’ll likely need to shave down a taper candle to avoid any resistance when putting it in.
